THE HONORARY AWARDS

According to the regulations 2.3.10 of the Statute of the Ukrainian Peace Council, Order of Peace First and Second Class are awarded to veterans of peace movement, cultural figures, scientists, athletes and educationists, to political and public figures, outstanding representatives of religious denominations for their valuable contribution to the cause of maintenance of justice, humanism, peace and accord in Ukraine and abroad, to building a democratic and peace-loving country of Ukraine, for long-term, active and successful social activity, for patronage, highly-qualified and selfless work for the wellbeing of their Motherland, for the development of national culture, science, education, devotion to peace championing at the international stage

The Honorary Award of the Ukrainian Peace Council comes with two grades, each accompanied by the honorary badge known as the Order of Peace. In addition to the badge, recipients are issued with a Certificate of the Order of Peace.
